Solar protection on east and west elevations is achieved through the galvanized and painted die-cut louvres. These metal sheets act as true light and heat filters, controlling natural light and reflecting thermal surpluses, thus creating a convection gap around the building that allows dissipation of heat with great effectiveness. This system is extremely cheap to construct and has very low maintenance costs.
The surrounding areas of the building are radically landscaped to improve the micro-climate.
